Kaye & Brian with (l-r) Matisse, Kismet & MonetWelcome to Pet Talk Radio
Happy New Year! 2009...

Wow doesn't time seem to just fly by us these days... Is it because we're all so busy?... or just getting older? (Speak for yourself Brian-KB!!)

Our pets of course have very little concept of time - they tend to be guided by the daylight and the seasons... except our three dogs of course... They know exactly when it's time for breakfast and for dinner... Oh well... that's probably our fault.

Of course Pet Talk Radio! is still 'time-less' and we have many years worth of free access archives for you via this website and we really do hope to re-start regular weekly shows sometime in the future.

If you've recently signed up for our updates - hang in there... we'll keep you posted from time to time of what's going on or if you simply missed our news about the future of the radio component of our show you can see it here or read about it here.

We'll have an update on this and our many other pet related projects shortly - stay tuned!

Meantime - Hugs for your pets from Kaye & Brian

Our Feature Story....

Our Feature Story this week is a 'no-brainer' if you live in Australia!... We seem to have just about all of the world's insects and nasty ouchy bity things right here.

They particularly affect our pets during summer and while most are not life-threatening, they can cause major discomfort to any pets - whether it's a bird, rabbit, dog or cat or even a horse!

This week Dr Harry Cooper gives all dog owners some good advice.

Dr Harry's Top 5 'Summer Nasties' to avoid!
With Australia's most popular veterinarian – Dr Harry Cooper

(c) www.gibdogpetsuppliesblog.com/Australia is home to more creatures that bite and sting than anywhere else on the planet, which means our dogs play Russian roulette every time they go out in the backyard!

For instance, did you know that one spider that is deadly to humans has no effect at all on dogs, while another spider's bite can kill a dog if left untreated? What about ticks and snakes?

Listen to Dr Harry Cooper's top tips to avoid the top nasties!
